    What this scheme funds

This grant funds non-profit and social organisations in Lombardy to renovate or restore buildings so they can be turned into affordable social housing. It covers both temporary housing (for students, temporary workers, vulnerable people) and permanent housing for middle-income families who can't easily find market or public housing. Funding is a non-repayable grant calculated per square metre, with the amount depending on how long the property stays dedicated to social housing use.
