Cabinet Office (UK) · National scheme · 1 eligible country
What this scheme funds
This fund supports disabled people in the UK who want to stand for elected office but face extra costs because of their disability. It pays for an administrator to run a new grant scheme that covers UK General Elections, English local and mayoral elections, and Northern Ireland local and Assembly elections. The aim is to make elected bodies better reflect the roughly 25 percent of the population who are disabled.
