Proof of Concept & Technology Validation Call
EIT Food · EIT · 45 eligible countries
What this scheme funds
This EIT Food call gives biotech start-ups money to prove their technology actually works. Route 1 supports early validation work for technologies that are still fairly immature, while Route 2 supports larger scale demonstrations for technologies that are already validated and close to market. The goal is to connect start-ups with corporate partners and shared lab or pilot facilities so they can reduce risk and move closer to commercial deployment.
