What this call funds
This call funds multi-country phase III clinical trials that compare existing treatments or repurpose off-patent drugs for cardiovascular disease, metabolic disorders, autoimmune disease, or non-communicable respiratory disease. Studies must be randomised and interventional, include diverse patient populations, and have clear public health relevance rather than commercial goals. Each country partner is funded separately by its own national or regional funding body, and projects run for up to four years.
